I have chosen many of the common "on call" questions we are frequently asked. It is not necessary for your office to have Internet access, or even a computer to take advantage of this time-saving innovation.

This Web site, Call Your Pediatrician:

• is designed to give information on common childhood illnesses. This includes a definition of the symptom, general information about causes of the symptom, guidelines on when to call the office immediately or when to call during office hours, and home treatments. Photographs are in the process of being added.
• will be updated regularly with current medical information.

For a limited time we are offering a free one page, personalized Web site about your practice. This can include things like names, addresses, office hours, E-mail service and any personal information you would like to share. A photograph of the doctor may be added for an extra fee. From your Web site they can link directly to the "Illness" section of Call Your Pediatrician.

In tracking use of this Web site, we have seen a tremendous response. Before we announced this in our office, there was an average of 150 hits per day on the site (probably random "surfers"). After announcing it in our office, the hits increased to an average of 1460 hits per day and is increasing week by week. Our patients have voiced their appreciation for the detailed information we are offering.

In the next four years, almost everyone will have access to the Internet. Your Web site will provide instant information to your patients and save you time and money.
